Animal Bedding Miscanthus is used successfully as a high quality bedding product for the equine trade and other markets such as cattle and chicken. For these markets it is supplied as chipped and de-dusted material in compacted bales. For smaller animals such as cats, a pelleted bedding product (KittyKanthus) has been developed by BICAL.  BICAL is actively looking for further growers nationally to grow and process Miscanthus with BICAL for these markets. Material is purchased under long term contracts and processed on dedicated sites designed by BICAL.
