BICAL has recently formed a partnership with busineses in the USA with shared interest in the development of Miscanthus. We are also working with the University of Illinois  with their ongoing Miscanthus research. Miscanthus is being grown in the USA and has been identified as having significant potential, as a biomass crop for heat, electricity and bio-ethanol production.
